Tonight is my last night with the net until July 9th. I am moving and the eternal asshats at the cable company can not come do the install until then.

New Challenge

The new challenge is up. The title and the choice of Angelina Jolie were inspired by a piece by Scooly called Mermaid. I loved it and so I was inspired by it. Thank goodness because I was having a hard time choosing the subject for this one. So, go on and have some fun creating. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Updates and Stuff

Well, I really should be packing, but I just can't bring myself to do it today. Arghh... I wish I had some faery god parents to do it for me. I am running out of time since we should be closing on the house at the end of the month. Maybe I can convince my hubby to hire movers. Sigh. I'm not lazy, I swear. Who likes moving anyway?

Alright... so I have three new pieces of art (check the center table) two come from a challenge at Ingenue and the other I started some time ago and finally finished. I can't remember where I got the pics or the inspiration.

I am still working on the list of resource links... it's just taking some time.

I am also working on the latest issue of the newsletter. Don't worry, the old ones will be archived in case you miss them. I have a couple of brushes that need to be released. One will come out with the news letter and the other will be released here. Who was it that tagged me about a barbed wire brush? Well, whoever you are, you're in luck... as soon as I can get my ass in gear and upload the files. :) That should be some time tonight or tomorrow.

Oh yeah, challenge winners are up... go take a look, and a new challenge will be up asap. Feel free to suggest some subject matter for the next challenge. I have a few ideas, but nothing solid just yet.

Whoops!

So, I sort of kind of sent the newsletter out three times. Sorry, just delete the copies. I am what you might call challenged at times. *grin* I hope you found some useful info and fun goodies to play with. I am open to your feedback and suggestions.

Also, it seems if you have an aol address, the newsletter does not work. I am also noticing problems with road runner addresses. If you have one of these accounts, try yahoo or hotmail instead to get your copy (or 3 lol) of the newsletter.

Brushes, Textures, and Puppy Dog Tails

So, there are some new goodies floating around here. A new brush created from some photos I found in photobreed's latest release and a texture or two created out a combination of my own digital photography and the wonders of PSP.

The Goddess of Freedom Challenge is coming along great. I'm hoping to see a lot more entries this week. Remember you can submit up to two pieces.

I think I will have the other awards up for the last series of challenges at Fragile Muse before the weekend. At least I hope so.

On a personal note, I got a puppy on Sunday. He's a six week old Beagle named Barney. It's like having an infant in the house. He cries all night, has to eat at certain times a day, and all he does is sleep. I love him to death, but I really didn't want to. I didn't want a dog, but I was pressured into not having a choice in the matter by my husband and my mother. We are buying a house together, so they wanted a dog. Of course, until we close on the house the dog has set up residence with us. Thanks mom. :)

I can't complain too much since my mother is finally coming out of the depression she has been suffering from since her father's death. So, I am happy she is happy again. If I have to clean up poop to make my mom smile, then so be it.

Challenge and More Upload Issues

Yes, I am having troubles with uploading again. I did manage to get the new art and a new brush up early this morning though. Right now I am trying to get the challenge entries to upload. I have added the thumbs for entries from CourtneyBlu and Vinny. I am working on getting the actual entries up through the upload option in blogger. So far it seems to be working.

Updates and New Art

Okay, so the brushes are finally back. That was a pain. Happy downloading.

I have a bunch of new art to see. Check the center column for the latest or just head to the graphic art section and pick out some new Orlando Bloom desktops. Yum. I used some textures from Tre and The Magic Box. Check them out and you will want to use them in everything you create.
