Blah

I am so damn uninspired I feel like I'm going to scream! I'm bored to boot. Does this site even do anything for you anymore? Maybe I just suck ass all of a sudden.

I don't know... I feel like writing, but I don't have anything to write about. Every idea I come up with sucks and the poetry is just not in motion lately. Argghh... don't mind the crazy woman in the corner. She's just a little insane, but she'll get over it eventually.

Anyway, I have to bake my Oscar party cake soon. It's yellow cake with vanilla frosting. I'm painting a big yellow star on the top too. Oh, and I'm baking lasagna with two kinds of meat (because ricotta cheese is gross) for dinner. I've got the ballots printed and I have at least half a dozen people planning to come. Sounds like fun to me, but I'm a big freaking dork. :o)

So, here's hoping Johnny gets his Oscar, though we know it will go to Sean Penn or maybe Tim Robbins. Egads, either way one of them is going to get political in their speach. Ick.

Have a nice Sunday and be good, or at least don't do anything I wouldn't do. That leaves you loads of possibilities.

My Oscar Predictions

A lot of these folks I know will not win, but I really wish they would. Get your own printable ballot at http://www.oscars.com.

Groovy Backgrounds Back

Their back and in a whole new way. Cycle through the tiles then click on the image to see it fill the entire page. Very cool. WARNING - These tiles are not for the faint of heart. :o) Enjoy!

Yet Another Layout

Okay, this one I really, really like. And come on... it was time for a change from that three column layout that I had up for months. Let me know what you think. I was sure I couldn't go wrong with Johnny Depp. What woman (or gay man) in their right mind does not find that man attractive? If you say you're not even a smidgen hot for him you must be lying or dead. :o)

New Design

I'm not sure how happy I am with the new look. At first I really liked it, not it has lost a lot of it's luster. I'm not sure how long it will be up, but I need a better idea before I change anything. Thanks for your continued support.

YAY! New Brush System

I am very happy to announce the addition of a brush archive that works almost as well as the old one did. It also fits seemlessly into my site. Bonus! You can find the gallery program I'm using here. I think this guy rocks!

The only thing I need from you guys is to let me know of any broken links. I have almost a hundred sets, so it can get pretty hectic to organize at times. Other than that, have fun and happy creating.

There are a few new ones, but the only one I can remember right now is Shakespeare. I like this one a lot since it includes some lines from my favorites plays.

Frustrated

I was inspired to paint last night. Not sure where it came from, but I just had to do it. What came out is a probably my most beloved piece. There's one problem though. My camera is being stupid, or maybe it's my computer, and I can't show it to you. To me, that just plain sucks since I would love to see what everyone thinks about it. Yes, I'm a whore for feedback, but we know that already. Artists need to be fed. That's a fact. Anyway, as soon as I can I will get the picture online and share it with you all.

Oh, while painting I sometimes just space out and let my hands move without thinking about what I am doing. This happened last night and when I looked up at the painting I had scratched words into it. I have some interesting ideas, but I want to know what you may think it means. Think of it as dream interpretation.

Sleeping Through the Superbowl

Since I was up until 7:30 this morning debating religion, capital punishment, and personal realities, (of all things to discuss after having been up for 20+ hours) I found myself passed out less than a half an hour into the Superbowl. Now, there are some die hard fans out there that may call this kind of behavior blasphemy - I, on the other hand, was only slightly sorry to miss getting force fed the new national ad campaigns in the form of highly entertaining, humorous commericials. Oh, I was also upset that I don't remember dreaming. Other than that it was a nice nap-filled evening.

I hope all of you had a nice weekend and I promise to get my ass in gear on the rest of the construction around this place. I have some new ideas, but I have to wait to get the old stuff back up. Oh, and once again - DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IMAGE MAGICK FOR PHPBB? I really want to get the forums up and the way I want them. Let me know if you can help by dropping me an email. Thanks guys!
